If you're building a greenhouse, you should work from good greenhouse plans

Greenhouse plans are available to suit any need – anything from a mini greenhouse right up through multi-acre nurseries. You can buy greenhouse plans to build your own, buy complete kits, or even find free greenhouse plans on the internet.

One of the first things to consider when you're looking for greenhouse plans is how much work do you want to put into building it? If you start with simply a set of plans, you'll need to buy all the materials and do all the labor (or pay someone else to do it) in building it. If you're just building a backyard mini greenhouse, this might not be that difficult. If you're building something larger, it could be a major project.

Greenhouse kits can be a good way to go if your greenhouse plans don't include a building project. Kits are available for the smallest mini greenhouse and much more. These kits include all the materials and the necessary instructions on how to build a greenhouse.

Greenhouse plans also include other aspects of designing your greenhouse, small or large.

One of the things you need to consider in your greenhouse plans is where to build it. Keep in mind that a greenhouse should get maximum exposure to sunlight. Watch the spot where you want to build it for a few days to get an idea of when the sun hits it. This can be especially important with a mini greenhouse because things like trees can throw enough shade to hide them from the sun.

You should also include greenhouse supplies in your greenhouse plans. When you are building, make sure you have all the supplies you need to do it right. When you're building a mini greenhouse, most things can be added anytime so if you forget something, it's probably not critical. If you're building a larger one though, things like watering systems, work benches and storage need to be planned ahead of time so they can be installed properly when it is built.
