Many gardening tools seem quite mundane but they can make a huge difference to your vegetable garden planting. When buying any types of tools, gardening tools included, I always recommend you buy the highest quality you can afford. A few dollars saved can cost you in both time and money in the long run. If you want your vegetable garden planting to be an enjoyable hobby, don't cut corners on your tools.

One of the most important gardening tools you'll be using is the trowel. It seems like a simple little shovel, but you'll be using your trowel a lot when doing your vegetable garden planting. You should look for one with a solid handle that fits your hand comfortably. Spending less on a cheap trowel will inevitably cost you more as you have to keep replacing it when it breaks (and a cheap one will break).
