If YouÕve Got Gardening Questions, WhoÕs Got The Gardening Answers?

Answers to your gardening questions come from many sources. If you’re into computers, you can always “Google” it. There are hundreds of sites with answers to garden questions. Or, for you computer people who still remember how to read books-- there’s libraries, bookstores and gardening magazines for general questions.

Another sometimes-reliable source is your garden nursery sales people. Some know only how to operate a register— others know about gardening. Just from having questions on gardening thrown at them all day. Let’s say you have questions about vegetable growing? Your best place to ask questions is right at the horse’s mouth. No, not at the racetrack! Go right where they’re growing vegetables. A vegetable farm!

Grow Only What You Plan To Eat— All Year Long

Who else would know better about vegetable growing than a gardener who grows them? There’s where you get the real deal. The do’s and don’ts. The gardening tips of the trade that you don’t find in books. These vegetable gardeners are a wealth of information. But, they’re generally so eager to tell you how much they know about gardening—you may never get your questions asked.

So we’d better answer the two most important questions right here. First, the selection of vegetables to grow should be largely influenced by your daily menu throughout the year. Second, grow only those vegetables that are seldom purchased because of their high price or scarcity. The others are cheap enough to buy as needed.

The home garden does demonstrate economic value. But at the same time it lets you indulge in the luxuries of previously un-affordable, exotic vegetables. However, just grow in abundance those vegetables you eat the most. And you’ll be well-rewarded for your efforts—all year long.
