Visit a Gardeners Supply Company – A Day Out for Gardeners!

Any gardeners supply company is an ideal place for avid gardeners, and amateurs just getting bit by the gardening bug! Taking a wander around the aisles of these companies in the spring, or even pondering over their catalogs in the long winter nights as you design your garden layout for the next year, can capture a gardener for hours! If your partner has green fingers, don’t expect to go to garden stores and get out anytime soon! It’s not going to happen!

A gardener will have a list of must-have supplies for the upcoming season. They will approach the store like a military exercise, with great planning and timing. They know exactly what they need for their gardening project. It should be an effortless visit of 10 minutes whilst they locate and buy the supplies they need. That’s the theory anyway.

The Gardeners Shopping Reality

The supplies list is real. Plus, for the most part, I’d say that gardeners do genuinely go to the supply company with a goal of just purchasing what’s on the list. It’s the store that’s to blame. Really it is! They know gardeners so well. They know how they love to hear about super new gadgets and gizmos that will make gardening simpler, less work, more attractive or whatever.

Placed just within the doorway of the store will be advertisements of new garden accessories, leaflets showing special offers on gardening tools, and garden supplies. There will be large posters inviting gardeners to come and admire a vast array of plants to make any garden spectacular. Lastly, there’s the coffee shop where tired gardening supply shoppers can take advantage of the refreshment area provided by the company whilst they glance through the company seed catalogs!
