Rock A Bye Plant in the Garden NurseryThe word nursery in the common lexicon tends to bring images of babies into people’s minds. Not to say that this is something that is inaccurate in its context but there is also something known as a garden nursery. This nursery is a garden that is enclosed in itself away from other plants and such. It is usually enclosed within its own space in order to ensure that there is a climate controlled facility within the nursery. When you are planting seeds, you need to determine whether the seeds can be planted in an outdoor environment or if they need to be climate controlled. There are some plants that when planted have to have a certain temperature and moisture in the climate to survive. Since some plants needs a certain amount of time to fully mature from seed to plant then chances are, since no one can accurately predict the weather that you would want to put them into a nursery to ensure that they get the proper garden environment. Special Order Plants, Hold the ClimateThere are some gardeners who only house their plants inside of a nursery. This can be seen especially in the more humid areas of country as the climates in these areas may experience extreme temperature changes in certain periods of every growing season. For example, certain plants might die without the constant mid 70s degree climate in states such as Georgia or South Carolina. These locations would be perfect for garden nurseries where the gardener has the ability to control amount of water the plant gets and the maintained temperature where the plant lives and hopefully thrives. |
